Fr. Raymond Tumba, OSA

Raymond Tumba was born on the 10th of July 1975 and ordained a Catholic Priest on 22nd June 2002 in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.
Fr Raymond was Parish Priest of St Rita’s Catholic Church, Kano Diocese, Nigeria from 2005 - 2009 and his many roles have included: serving as a member of the Board of Directors of Kano Diocese; National Director of the Augustinian Young People, Nigeria; National Director of the Augustinian Associates, Nigeria and Director of the Augustinian Retreat House, River Park Estate, Abuja, Nigeria.
Fr Raymond worked as Assisting Priest in St Augustine’s Catholic Church, Hammersmith, London from 2010 – 2013. He studied Law at the University of Birmingham (UK) from 2013 - 2015 and went on to study Classical Arabic and Islam in Dar Comboni Institute of Arabic and Islamic Studies in Zamalek, Cairo, Egypt, 2015 - 2017.
Between 2017 to 2018, he attended the prestigious Nigerian Law School, Abuja and in November 2018 Fr Raymond was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. In 2019, he was sent back to the United Kingdom to work in Arundel and Brighton Diocese.
